Project stage 1 of 5
Existing Conditions
Before design starts, we record what is already there: your site, any existing building and the local rules that apply to your property.
Included
What we do
- A site visit with measurements and photos
- Existing drawings of the current building: floor plans, site plan, elevations and a section
- Drawings made from plans or PDFs you already have, drawn to scale
- A review of your survey, title and other documents
- Research of zoning, setbacks and other local rules for your property
Result
What you get
- Measured drawings of what is there today
- A short summary of site limits such as slopes, trees, easements and services
- Most renovations and additions start here. A new home on a vacant lot may only need the site research.
