Code of Ethics

John Meunier is registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) as an Architectural Technologist AIBC, and is required to comply with the Professional Governance Act, the AIBC Bylaws, and the AIBC’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Thomas Drafting Inc. itself is not an architectural firm and does not provide regulated architectural services.

The AIBC’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct sets out the core professional and ethical standards for all AIBC Registrants, including architects, architectural technologists, intern architects, firms, and temporary licensees. These Professional Standards govern integrity, competence, responsibility to clients and the public, and compliance with laws, and they form the ethical framework within which John Meunier practices as an Architectural Technologist AIBC.

Within this framework, Thomas Drafting Inc. provides building design and drafting services for projects that do not require an architect under the Architects Regulation, and drafting/modeling support to architects and engineers on larger or non‑exempt projects under the direction of the Architect or Engineer of Record.
